This year Art One Academy is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. Art One would like to introduce you to one of our newest teachers, Raffi Anderian. Raffi Anderian is an artist and an illustrator, best known for his award-winning artwork for the Toronto Star newspaper.  He graduated from Sheridan in 1985 and was top of his class.  At age 24, he was the youngest person to win the coveted National Newspaper Award for Editorial Cartooning.  Over 1200 of his illustrations are in the permanent collection of the Library Archives Canada for their significant contribution to Canadian culture. We are very happy to announce that Starkie Mak has joined our team. Starkie is an illustrator, a passionate art teacher with over 8 years of experience, and a talented artist with her own unique style. She has a solid academic background, cheerful personality, and a warm heart – a great combination for Art One Instructor. Starkie developed her unique teaching method. By the means of introducing creative art-creating techniques, she shows their students unlimited possible ways of how an art piece can be made.
