Character Design class became a definite hit during the summer. Our students had to register far in advance to book the online class and learn to draw various characters, fantasy creatures, come up with backgrounds, horn their figurative and portrait drawing. Art One would like to introduce you to one of our newest teachers, Raffi Anderian. Raffi Anderian is an artist and an illustrator, best known for his award-winning artwork for the Toronto Star newspaper.  He graduated from Sheridan in 1985 and was top of his class.  At age 24, he was the youngest person to win the coveted National Newspaper Award for Editorial Cartooning.  Over 1200 of his illustrations are in the permanent collection of the Library Archives Canada for their significant contribution to Canadian culture.
