Summer Camp 2026 at Art One Academy Markham!

During our 10 weeks of Summer Art Camp in Markham, young artists will use variety of new creative techniques to make beautiful artworks that everyone will enjoy! Campers start the day with an exploration of a specific discipline, ranging from drawing and sketching to sculpture and painting.

Experienced art instructors, exciting art projects, and a fun atmosphere will surely make this an unforgettable experience! We have planned interesting themes and fantastic art projects every week. Young artists will use their imagination to explore diverse materials and techniques. They will also stay fit with Creative Movement exercises while making new friends. 

 Each week of our Summer Camp in Markham includes several art projects such as painting with acrylics or watercolours, drawing, and sculpting. Campers will study both well-known and emerging artworks, learning and practicing various art history styles and movements. Children will also enjoy a mix of fun group and individual activities. 

Fees (including all applicable taxes):

• Full Day: $480 per week
• Half Day AM or PM: $325 per week
• Extended Hours: 8am-9am and/or 4pm to 6pm for $10/hour
• Please leave us a note in your registration form if extended care is required.
• Flex-Full Day: $115 per day
• Flex-Half Day: $75 per day

Things to remember:

• Bring your own lunch and snacks. (Please note we are a nut-aware facility).
• Popcorn day(s) are complimentary.
• Friday Pizza (optional): 1 slice of cheese pizza with juice cost $3.00 (2 slices for 5$).

4^th  WEEK: July 20-24 – Food and Art: mushroom, pattern and design

5^th WEEK: July 27-31 – Learn to draw your favorite character

6^th  WEEK: August 4-7 (4 days) – Art in Children’s Literature

7^th  WEEK: August 10-14 – Painters Studio: color, texture and technique

8^th  WEEK: August 17-21 – Animation through art

9^th  WEEK: August 24-28 – The best projects of the summer

10^th WEEK: August 31 – September 4 – TBA

• 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Morning Art Session: Projects based on daily/weekly themes
• 10:30 AM – 10:45 AM: Snack & break, supervised outdoor activities
• 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Art Session continued: Project completion
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch, play, and movie time
• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Afternoon Art Session: Themed projects
• 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM: Yoga & Creative Movement
