Originating in the 1950s, pop art is an American art movement popularized by artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. In this course, we will learn the basics of pop art to create our own art pieces, using bold outlines, bright colours, repetition and text.
Here is what you’ll learn:
- Communicate your ideas
- Turn simple shapes into objects and people
- Learn about a historical pop art from the 1950s and 1960s
- Use symmetrical or radial composition

Some drawing experience is helpful but not required.
