Come celebrate with us as we officially open the doors to Art One Academy The Beaches!

Explore our new studio, meet our instructors, discover our Fall programs and spend an afternoon creating with us.

We’ve planned hands-on art experiences for children, a live caricature artist, a special ribbon cutting and cake, plus an evening workshop for adults.

CREATE WITH US

CHARACTER DESIGN: FACES & EXPRESSIONS (Age: 7-12)
Drop in and add your own personality to our collaborative character wall. Learn the basics of drawing faces and experiment with different expressions and characters.

ROAR & CREATE: JOURNEY TO DINOSAUR LAND
2:00–3:30 PM | Blue Room | Age: 4-6

Young artists will travel back in time and create their own prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs, colour and imagination.

90-minute workshop

COLOUR THEORY: DISCOVER THE COLOUR WHEEL
2:00–3:30 PM | Red Room | Age: 4-6

Mix, discover and create! A hands-on introduction to how colours work together while creating a colourful piece of art.

Sit for a fun live caricature and watch yourself become a work of art!

Stay after the Open House or come back for an evening of art.

Explore the colour, light and expressive landscapes of Canadian artist Tom Thomson while creating your own oil pastel landscape.

Come with a friend, make it a creative date, or simply enjoy a couple of hours doing something for yourself.
