Hena is a visual artist and creative educator whose work bridges fine art, design, and expressive storytelling. Born and educated in Mumbai, India, she built a strong artistic foundation, earning her Diploma in Applied Arts – Graphic Design from Sophia Polytechnic College in 2012, followed by a Diploma in Art Teacher’s Training at Sir J.J. School of Arts, where she received a Silver Medal for Surreal Art in 2020.
Working primarily with acrylic, oil and watercolour, Hena has developed a distinctive artistic style. She is particularly passionate about portraits in watercolour, where she captures personality, emotion, and individuality through fluid brushwork and expressive layering. Alongside this, she has an interest in contemporary abstract art, creating pieces that balance color, texture, and composition to reflect movement, rhythm, and personal interpretation.
Her passion for art extends into teaching. Hena has taught students of various ages, and enjoys guiding children in discovering their own creative voice. She focuses on building foundational skills while encouraging imagination, personal expression, and confidence. Through the workshops and classes led, she helped young artists think independently, bring their ideas to life, and develop a genuine love for visual arts.
