Olga grew up in Russia and throughout her childhood she expressed an interest in drawing and painting. She received professional artistic training at a well respected Art School in Moscow and then continued her education in Canada.

In 2001 Olga moved to Canada. She immediately became involved in the local art scene participating in variety of classes, workshops, exhibition and joining local art communities such as Richmond Hill Group of Artists.

Olga´s main form of artistic expression is painting using acrylics, oils and mixed media. A common theme in her artworks is nature. Olga finds inspiration in the intricate designs, beautiful colors and vibrant moods that can be found in the world around us. These factors influence her landscape and floral paintings.

Olga recognizes that the life of an artist is a continual learning experience. She is focused on progressing with her own artistic education by experimenting with a range of different approaches, materials and styles.

As well as continuing her own artistic development and education, Olga is also passionate about working with children. She finds great satisfaction in sharing her knowledge, skills and experiences with younger artists. She also loves to see the artistic talents of her students develop over time.

Olga´s work is frequently exhibited at several galleries, events and other art shows (such as “Art in the Park” and the “Mill Pond Gallery”). She also encourages students at her art school to exhibit their work. Olga regularly organizes for talented artists to lead workshops at the Art One Academy in which they share their experiences of the art world with the students.

Olga feels very fortunate to be able to combine her two great passions – fine art and teaching children.

We would like to invite you to come and meet Olga and the other instructors at Art One Academy and to become part of our artistic family.
