From comic books to video games to Hollywood movies, most commercial art these days involves using a computer at some point in the process, making computer skills crucial for many artists.

In this exciting program, students will draw, color, paint, and create right into a computer using our provided Windows systems and digital pen tablets on industry standard software.

Digital Art Beginner (9-12 y.o.)

From comic books, video games to Hollywood movies, most commercial art these days involves using a computer at some point in the process, making computer skills crucial for many artists.

In this exciting program, students will draw, color, paint, and create right into a computer using our provided digital pen tablets. A program unlike any other, this course serves as a great introduction into the world of digital art and they will have many digital pieces to showcase. These include digital landscapes, character illustrations, photo restorations and manipulations.

 

Digital Art Intermediate (9-12 y.o.)

Have you ever wanted to illustrate your own book, design your own toys and its packaging or even design logos? Then this course is perfect for your child! Illustration on its own is becoming such a vast all-encompassing medium that it touches many aspects of other art forms such as character design, graphic design and even concept art. The ArtOne Illustration course goes further into principles of illustration for books (children’s books), ads, magazines, logos, communicating a story and also a story through images. Students will have several portfolio pieces of illustration to show at the end including their own book!

 

Concept Art Teens

From George Lucas to Sony’s “God of War” blockbuster gaming franchise, all media turn to concept art before they being production. Many professionals strive for the highly competitive position of Concept Artist. This introductory course into the world of concept art will teach both traditional and digital art techniques to help students develop fast concepts that have depth and encompasses its own style and universe.

This course is suggested only to mature students or students who are at least 12-16 as it is highly in-depth/technical. Students will create character, creature, vehicle, weapon and environmental concept art that will all match a singular world/storyline.

    Art Combo Teens or portfolio class will be held in Summer on Mondays, Thursday 5pm to 7pm and 7pm to 9pm and possibly Saturdays.
